Clean Kitchen and Bath Area Rugs

Cleaning kitchen and bathroom area rugs can be a fairly easy task to complete, however, it is important to be sure to look at the care tag before cleaning. Most kitchen and bathroom rugs can be machine washed.
However, before just tossing them into the washing machine, here are a few tips:
- Stains should be taken care of by using a laundry stain remover.
- Do not mix dark and light rugs in one wash. Wash them seperately.
- Rugs with dark colors should be washed in warm tempature with a mild detergent on a delicate cycle.
- Rugs with lighter colors should be washed in hot water with a mild detergent.
- Be sure the rugs are rinsed thoroughly in the rinse cycle or rinse them yourself.
- Either let the rugs air dry or you can place them in the dryer on a low setting. This should be determined by the type of fibers the rug is made.
