Interior Concrete Polishing

Concrete Polishing is similar to wood sanding. It takes several (about 9) levels (or grits) of diamonds to hone the surface layer of the floor. A densifer is used to harden the concrete, which helps in the retraction of stain penetration. Then a sealer is used to assist in the result of a very low maintenance floor. When a concrete floor is honed and polished it should not need to be polished again for at least 3-5 years, depending on the floor traffic. Morr Services, Inc. uses a HTC SuperFloor 500 Machine. The HTC SuperFloor machine has a vacuum system that elevates most of the dust associated with honeing and polishing a floor. To see pictures of our concrete polishing work, see the photo gallery.

Interior Concrete Dyeing

When you hone a concrete floor, you also can have the option of having a color (dye) added to the floor. We can provide you with a color chart of the colors available upon request. Vinyl Tile Stripping and Waxing

Concrete Resurfacing

Sometimes, when concrete is poured and cured, it turns out to be unlevel and needs to be fixed. For instance, sometimes this a floor needs to be fixed before the installation of hardwood floors or ceramic tile floor. We have specialized equipment (use of the HTC SuperFloor 500 Machine) that will correct this issue for our customers.

Floor Glue/Coatings/Mastic Removal

Alot of times when a builder, designer or flooring installation contractor is switching out an existing floor type such as carpet or tile for another, there is a layer of glue or mastic on the subfloor that needs to be removed before they are able to install the new flooring. This can be a tedious and very time consuming job, however, this is a service we offer that elevates the time factor because of the machine that we use to remove this floor glue. We can also remove previous coatings or thinset off of concrete.
